The only proper way to paint brick is to use a masonry primer that will bond to the brick and mortar but still allow it to breathe. After that, we can top coat it with whatever you like. There are products that combine a primer and a top coat, and those are viable, but our strong recommendation is to prime and then paint.
Our Brick Painting Process
The first thing we do is cover everything up to prevent paint getting on anything except our intended surface. Once that is done, we apply a coat of primer, let that cure, and apply two coats of your choice of paint (we can color match).
The length of a job can vary depending on the size of the house, special requests such as extra coats of paint, and any cracks or holes that we need to fill. The typical timeframe is 3-6 days.
