Our process for painting cabinets is to remove the doors and drawers, cover up anything that’s not getting painted in the area, sand all surfaces of the cabinet boxing doors and drawers, and then apply Extreme Bonding primer. Once all the prep is done, we apply two coats of top coat, which is Emerald Urethane. We see a lot of greens and cream colors coming into play and we love it! Whatever color you want, we can help you acquire.
We can fill in holes and scratches in your cabinets, but we don’t do carpentry work. We want to give you the best possible kitchen cabinet setup, which means staying within our field of expertise. If you have a serious repair need, we recommend calling a professional carpenter.
Since we don’t use oil-based paints or lacquer, you don’t have to leave your home during the project. Our paints don’t make the air difficult to breathe for the two to four days that it will take us to get the job done.
Once the paint cures with the urethane, there’s really nothing you have to do. The paint becomes hard as a rock, and it won’t going anywhere. All you need to do is wipe them down every once in a while to remove dust or grease from the kitchen. Our outcomes are virtual maintenance free!
We bring our expertise and 20+ years of experience to every job. You can rest easy knowing that we’ll leave you with cabinets to be proud of!
