Lime wash is another word for whitewash. It’s where you thin out paint to leave a milky coating over the surface, which could be wood or masonry or brick. You dilute the paint or stain, and then you coat the wall where it gives it like a semi-transparent film over it rather than being solid.
We limewash brick and wood. Right now everyone wants to lighten up their brick, and that’s very easy to accomplish with limewashing. On wood, you might want a stain effect, but still want to see the natural grain. In these cases, we pick a color, dilute it, and put it on. That way, you get both the grain and the color.
We can color match any color you want, which means the process is very simple. You pick a color, we cover up windows, doors, etc., mix the paint, and spray. We also back roll the paint with a roller just to make sure everything is evenly spread before it dries. Additionally, most of the paints we use have a lifetime warranty or a minimum of 20 years.
