Peel and stick is the trendy one right now because it’s easy to put on or remove, but a traditional roll-on offers a lot more control. We’re experienced enough and willing to do whatever it takes to make you satisfied with your wallpaper. The other thing we’re seeing gain traction, is murals. Homeowners are choosing loud, sometimes outlandish murals, and we love installing them.
With murals, we lay it all out first to see what it looks like, and then we go slow and steady. We want to make sure all of our pages are in the right order before we start, just to eliminate as much risk as possible. When it’s a mural, we prefer some kind of area where we can lay it out and see what we’re dealing with.
As professionals, we’re here to offer you a solution to the typical headache and timesuck that is wallpaper installation. Not only do you not have to handle it on your own, you know for sure that you will get a professional outcome.
Wallpaper isn’t a complex process, but it is tricky to get correct. We set up a table, we measure out the walls, then we just cut and apply as we go. If it’s peel and stick, we just cut it to size, move the strip from the back and apply it to the wall. When it’s traditional, we roll and brush the wall as if we’re painting it. And we do it piece by piece and work our way down and then smooth it out as we go. We do not install wallpaper of textured walls, but uneven is no problem.
If a patch needs to be done on the drywall, we will handle that before proceeding with any wallpapering. Additionally, we can remove old wallpaper. If you’re painting, you can just treat the old wallpaper like a normal wall and paint over it, but we can remove the wallpaper if that’s something that bothers you.
